  1.                         The Saudi Connection

  3.                              Guidelines

  5.   All BBSes wishing to carry The Saudi Connection on their system must
  6.   carry both echos: SAUDI, which is for Users to enter messages to the
  7.   troops in Saudi Arabia, must be write-only. SAUDI_INFO, which is for
  8.   the sysops to communicate with one another, must be sysop-only read
  9.   and write.
  10.  
  11.   Sysops are responsible for all user messages entered on thier system.
  12.  
  13.   Messages entered must be in the following format:

  15.        Recipient's full military address
  16.  
  17.        Body of Letter (ie, the message)
  18.  
  19.        Sender's full USPS address
  20.  
  21.   All sysops are encouraged to seek publicity for their part in The
  22.   Saudi Connection. When publicity has occured, all sysops involved
  23.   are requested to forward copies of said publicity to the SaudiNet
  24.   Publicity Coordinator (SPC) for inclusion in a collection for use
  25.   by the rest of us.

  27.   It is the responsibility of all S*Cs and SGSs to ensure that the
  28.   systems they feed are fully listed in SLIST (and that they have a
  29.   valid net/node number when we go to SaudiNet). Do not turn on their
  30.   feed until they have listed and they show up in our list.

  32.   (NOTE: I am working on a donation for all of us and ONLY those systems
  33.   which are listed with us will be eligible to receive it - assuming it
  34.   goes through)

  36.   The following represent the various "official" arenas of responsibility
  37.   within SaudiNet. We will be "filling" them as we go and will have all
  38.   of them filled before we go to SaudiNet:

  41. SZC   SaudiNet Zone Coordinator
  42. STC   SaudiNet Technical Coordinator (keeps SNetList and SNetDiff)
  43. SPC   SaudiNet Publicity Coordinator (send/receieve clippings here)
  44. SEM   SaudiNet Echo Moderator (maintains decorum in echos)
  45. SRC   SaudiNet Regional Coordinator
  46. SSC   SaudiNet State Coordinator
  47. SGS   SaudiNet Gateway Site (one for each 'foreign' net)
  48. SNC   SaudiNet Net Coordinator (local net)
  49. SN    SaudiNet Node
